About Monika Kaushik
Monika practices Reiki in her everyday life. She is a Usui/ Holy Fire® III, Animal Reiki Master and Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Master Teacher. Monika has been practicing Reiki healing for last two years, and continues to serve both humanity and animals passionately. Her journey with Reiki began as a search for spiritual guidance and healing for her pet, Bolt who was diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy in 2019. In a desperate attempt to save her pet, she tried different energy healing modalities like crystal healing, and chakra healing. As she dived deeper, she unraveled the charisma of Reiki.
She first began learning via online course, and practiced it on her pet. The results were prompt, and positive. Bolt began showing improvement. Despite being on medicines for both heart and kidney, he had no complications. He lived a healthy life, eating, playing and walking each day. Monika did Reiki on him every day as she saw its effect. She then became a certified Animal Reiki practitioner, and besides Bolt, she began giving healing to the strays she took care of. Being free roaming dogs and cats, they would often suffer from injuries and emotional traumas. However, as Monika channeled Reiki to them, they always healed.
She began healing humans too when her cousin was suffering from severe kidney stone pain. Immediately, Monika sent Reiki healing energy to him, and even before he was admitted in the hospital, the stone passed out in his micturition. She then continued practicing Reiki on family and friends. She then went on to become a certified Usui Holy Fire III Master teacher.
Monika is eager to share her knowledge and experience with people as her inner calling to serve humanity and animals inspires her each day. By pursuing Reiki teaching and learning she looks forward to making a positive impact in her own life and in those around her. Being a certified Master Teacher, she certifies students in all levels of Reiki, ranging from beginners to the advanced level.

ICRT- The International Center for Reiki Training
Monika Kaushik is a Holy Fire® III Reiki Master, Animal Reiki Master and Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Master Teacher from and at ICRT.
The Center for Reiki Training began in1991 and later in 1997 was changed to ICRT with the word International added to it since students from all over the globe were taking classes from this centre. The centre teaches the Japanese Reiki techniques as developed and taught by Mikao Usui as well as those developed by Madam Takata. ICRT has been evolving all these years, and in 2014 Holy Fire Reiki was introduced by William Lee Rand.
Besides this, ICRT also deals with Aura Clearing, Scanning, Beaming, Healing Attunements and Karuna Reiki. In 1990, the Teacher certification program started, and is now known as the Licensed Reiki Master Teacher (LRMT) program.
In 2007, The Center for Reiki Research evolved from the Reiki in Hospitals program that was developed in 2003. In 2011, the Reiki Member Association was started. Thissis a professional membership association for Reiki Masters who teach the same style of Reiki as the ICRT.
ICRT acknowledges other schools and lineages.
