ReikiSparsh, a name coined by Monika Kaushik, blends two languages—Japanese and Sanskrit. "Reiki" combines Rei, meaning Divine or Universal, and Qi, meaning life force energy. Sparsh is Sanskrit for touch or embrace. Together, ReikiSparsh means "The Touch of Divine Life Force Energy."
Reiki is basically an energy healing modality that uses hands-on techniques to heal any being. The practitioner who performs a healing session places its hands on or above a client’s body, and channels the universal life force energy through the palms into the client’s body. Reiki, as a complementary therapy can help heal physical injuries, emotional traumas, and mental problems.
